The Feminist’s Guide to Love – The Whitewash of Romance

We were delighted to curate three discussion events as part of the BFI’s LOVE season. We hosted Isaura Barbé-Brown (actress), Hannah Hamad (senior lecturer at the University of East Anglia) and Bridget Minamore (poet) in conversation to discuss why people of colour don’t fall in love at the movies at the BFI Southbank, following a screening of Gina Prince-Bythewood’s Beyond the Lights.
